What is Vector Control of Induction motor?

Vector Control of Induction motor :

The vector control method allows squirrel cage induction motor driven with high dynamic performance.
Vector control offers more precise control, speed control over wide range and operation above base speed.
From field angle vector control is divided into two types.
There are two types in vector control one is direct and second is indirect control.
In direct control method air gap flux should be known via air gap flux sensor.
And indirect control method rotor speed should be known via Hall sensor.
The direct method is a modern technique and torque response time is 10 times faster.
The indirect method is rotor flux oriented vector control.
The direct method is air gap flux with sensor vector control.
Dynamic model of motor is need for vector control.
Vector control uses a feedback system.
Vector control allows speed control in all four quadrants.
Vector control follow a algorithm:
First find field angle.
Second calculate flux component.
Third calculate torque component.
Fourth calculate stator-current phasor magnitude.
Fifth calculate torque angle.
Sixth calculate stator-current phasor angle.
Seventh synthesize current using inverter.
